Apartment Art

ApartmentArt_01ApartmentArt_02ApartmentArt_03ApartmentArt_04ApartmentArt_05ApartmentArt_06ApartmentArt_07ApartmentArt_08ApartmentArt_09ApartmentArt_10ApartmentArt_11

Just some sweet apartment art my bright and shiny new roommate did with me this week— it now hangs so proudly in our bathroom. Nothing better than the hope of more sun, fresh gouache on canvas and the setting of new goals for a new season.

Spring …..

On a short hiatus while my face thaws from the absolute worst winter I can remember.
Moving around apartment things, buying couches, adult shit. Being responsible (borrrring).
Also bought a fair amount of my favourite medium (GOUACHE!!!) and decided it would be fun to work on something slowly through-out the days ahead.
Floral watercolor ink drawings and bright colours.
Navy Ink and Wood board.

I AM SO READY FOR A CHANGE !

February Favourites

A few of my favourite things this February.

I have to say the ultimate gem is the air-plant I bought from Crown Flora.

This little plant is the one piece of nature I’ve managed to keep alive safe in my apartment as the city freezes & destroys nearly everything. I only have to water it about once every 5 days–the lil guy is indestructible ! Terrarium’s seem to be all the rage right now too.
Just finished reading the Catcher in the Rye, any other book recommendations would be fab.
I always seem to feel scatterbrained when I go to a book store.

Also: furniture shopping. Not as fun as I imagined.
I was going to work on posting some cute spring looks but I’ll wait until June 2099 when Canada figures out climate control and we can live amongst the palms.

Until then…
